Charging interface requirements for electric vehicles
- Aug 21, 2018 -

As the name implies, electric vehicles are powered by electricity, so the requirements for charging interfaces are relatively high, and safety is also increased.

1. The terminals of the charging plug and the charging socket are marked with the glyphs.

2. The housing of the charging plug and charging socket shall be marked with the manufacturer's name or trademark, product model, rated voltage and rated current.

3. The accessible surface of the electric vehicle charging plug and charging socket should be free of burrs, flash edges and similar sharp edges; 4. The charging plug and the charging socket should have matching protective covers, and these protective covers should be provided between their protective parts and their associated components. Attachment devices (such as chains, ropes, etc.) that are fixedly attached and should not be removed without the use of tools.

5. After the charging socket is installed on the electric vehicle, the marking of rated voltage and rated current should be easy to identify.

6. There should be different colors in the obvious area of the charging plug (such as the control button surface of the locking device) to indicate different charging modes.

7. The charging interface of the electric vehicle should have a locking function to prevent accidental disconnection during charging. When the external force is applied twice as long as the specified insertion force is applied in the locked state, the connection should not be disconnected and the locking device must not be damaged.

The charging interface of the electric vehicle should not show visible deformation, cracks and spots, and must not be damaged.
