Use of low-speed electric vehicles
- Aug 25, 2018 -

China's low-speed electric vehicle development just started, the main production in shandong, henan, hebei.

Most of them are private purchases, used for renting, passenger transport, private cars, etc. The speed is 40-60km/h.

However, as China does not have the same production standards for low-speed vehicles as the European Union and the United States, relevant policies have not been relaxed, which makes the development of low-speed electric vehicles in China slow.

Most ordinary people in China use two-wheel and three-wheel electric vehicles. Such "meat packed iron" means of transportation not only do not cover the wind and rain, but also expose the driver to injuries, resulting in numerous traffic accidents every year.

Most low-speed electric car production enterprise in our country at the same time not four complete car production process (stamping, welding, painting, assembly), many enterprises of products without quality guarantee, as the 2014 CCTV 3.15 and focus interview program of the exposure, the inferior products on the market gradually disappeared, replaced by a group of like work group "day" has a complete set of European low-speed electric car production standards and full auto production process of four big enterprise, the enterprise to ensure the products safe and reliable, convenient and practical.

Driving speed in most urban areas in China is limited below 70km/h.

Driving in urban areas, the speed limit can rarely reach 60km/h.

The survey results show that the average daily vehicle mileage in all three levels of cities is no more than 60 km, but higher than 50 km.

In the future, the average daily mileage of first-level cities may be even shorter if various factors such as the number of vehicles used in cities and the cost of vehicles are taken into account.

This part of the car user or potential car user part turns to public transportation, part turns to four-wheel low-speed electric vehicles.

For non-car users, there is a need to upgrade their vehicles.

According to incomplete statistics, at present, there are more than 500 million bicycles in China, nearly 80 million two-wheeled motorcycles and nearly 60 million electric bicycles, with a total of more than 600 million of them.

These consumers all have the need to upgrade their vehicles.

These users have an urgent need to improve travel conditions.

But most consumers can't afford a car or it's not for them.

Electric vehicles are currently only breaking through in some marginal segments of the market, and have yet to make inroads into mainstream transportation.

However, from the current development of the situation, the future in second - and third-tier cities as urban mobility vehicles, and township and rural market as urban and rural logistics vehicles, will be two expected markets.

Based on the target market, the following basic elements are considered: pricing market: consumers with limited economic capacity and low demand for distance and speed;

Technology route: adopting cheap, stable and mature technology;

Protect design idea: satisfy the core need of consumer traffic, reduce all unnecessary equipment and function.

Also add value points that are attractive to target consumers, such as fashion looks.
