Three parameters of electric vehicles

The parameters such as engine displacement, power, and torque of an electric vehicle have an important influence on the power of the vehicle, which represent different meanings.

1 engine displacement. For the sum of the working volumes of the cylinders of the engine, the cylinder working volume refers to the volume swept by the piston from the top to the bottom dead center. The displacement reflects the ability of the electric vehicle engine to absorb and discharge air. The greater the displacement, the better the power of the electric vehicle engine.

2 maximum net power. Refers to the work done in unit time (S), the unit is kW. The maximum net power is the ultimate power output when the engine is fully equipped with accessories and the throttle is fully open. The maximum net power of the engine can only be emitted at a certain speed, while the power at other speeds is smaller than it. If the displacement is the same and the power is large, the high-powered engine is a high-enhanced engine or a turbocharged engine. Generally, the greater the maximum net power of the engine, the higher the maximum speed of the corresponding electric vehicle.

3 maximum torque. The engine output torque refers to the ability of the engine crankshaft to rotate against external resistance, and its unit is N·m. The maximum torque is the limit torque that the crankshaft can output to the outside when the engine throttle is fully open. The maximum torque of the engine can only be generated at a certain speed, while the torque generated at other speeds is smaller than it.
